LUMPKIN COUNTY:
Clothes are also available through Foster Care Support Foundation in Roswell.  Contact Rachael at (770) 641-9591 to make an appointment.
Dahlonega Resale Boutique gives a 10% discount for foster children.  It is located across from Ace Hardware.
Dahlonega Care Thrift Store also gives a 10% discount for foster children.  It is located across from the Huddle House.
The Lumpkin County  Adoptive Foster Parent Association meets the second Tuesday each month at 6:30 at the Park and Rec.
*The Lumpkin County Association has been in existence for 7 years.  It provided  
computers for every foster parent, has a workshop each month for  
scrapbooking, provides training and support for every foster family.
The officers are  Lisa Reed, President, Paige Dunn, Secretary, and Vickie Jarrett, Treasurer.

FRANKLIN COUNTY:
Next Scheduled meeting is November 10,2007 at the Royston Housing Authority. We are having a Thanksgiving celebration from 6-8 p.m.  Then, December 8, 2007 fafpa Christmas party.  Meeting dates to follow are...January 19,2008 at Clarke's  Creek Baptist Church in Lavonia,  February 16, 2008,  March 22, 2008.  Contact Kendall or Randy Rosbury for more information 706-245-1030 or 706-206-9802.
